I have just finished a remix for one of the best Dutch soul vocalists;

. The song "Shame" is one of the stand out tracks on her new album "Livin' It" which is released on Red Ink/Sony/BMG. "Shame" is an organic, funky track with very powerfull vocals (think Jill Scott, Alicia Keys) and I really wanted to keep the vocal arrangement intact for this remix. That took me while to get it right but the result is a laid back pop meets dancehall mix......or something like that. Anyway.....

The remix of the Mimezine track Can't Get Enough that Kraak & Smaak did last year is now released on the double cd "Kraak & Smaak Remix Sessions". I've just finished a remix for a band from Tempe/Arizona; ICEPAW. This is a great and very divers band which plays triphop/downtempo and a lot of other things. Definitely worth to check! The original of "Kamala" is a nice intimate song in 7/8 with just vocals and kalimba. After an attempt to make it an afrobeat dance track, it became a loungy, disco song. Most of the work I did shortly after the Kraak & Smaak U.S. tour near a swimmingpool in Hollywood, L.A....... aaaah sometimes life's not easy..... You can check the remix

Today I finished a remix for Wackmobile, a metal band signed to The Electric Co./Universal. The original was a pretty heavy track which reminded me a little of Tool. Reshaped it to a dubby lounge track...
